SAN FRANCISCO — The Giants are awaiting a doctor’s visit to learn more about Alex Cobb. The 36-year-old right-hander suffered another setback in his rehab this week. After throwing a bullpen session, he began to experience soreness and stiffness in his lat. The Marin Municipal Water District has approved a polarizing recreation management study that recommends pilot programs to expand bicycle access in the Mount Tamalpais watershed. ROSS Committee endorses home, pool proposal The Ross Advisory Design Review Group has recommended that the town approve a proposal for a home and pool project at 51 Shady Lane. The proposal calls for demolishing the 345-square-foot pool house and relocating the nonconforming pool to the rear setback with a patio and outdoor fireplace, according to a town planning report.
