I have an Ioniq 6, which has an itty bitty frunk. I crammed in a level 1 charging cable and the first aid kit that comes with the car. I realized that I tend to forget about the frunk and am actually glad it barely exists because it allows the glove compartment to be super deep. My parents have a Model Y but they never really use their much more ample frunk. Do any of you regularly use it or is it a selling point that is better on paper than in practicality?

PHEV outlander High pitched Whine
Hi all, curious what everyone’s else’s experience is with the PHEV outlander regarding engine sounds. My PHEV makes a very loud buzz/ high pitched Whine when driving, most annoying/ distracting sound ever. Typically it’s louder when driving up a hill, however a little more silent in EV mode, however still present. I went to Mitsubishi, however they had said it was a “ characteristic “ of the PHEV vehicles and that there’s nothing they can do. It’s very frustrating because I didn’t hear this throughout the test drive. I was curious whether anyone else had this ..read more

Just installed new Tesla gen 3 charger with J1772 connector. When I plug it in the light turns blue and says it’s connected but it sends no charge. I can’t figure out how to make it charge. Support said there might be a setting I need to change on the car. Couldn’t find anything in the dash screen. Is there an app? What am I missing here?

I’m strongly considering an EV.
If I go somewhere like New York, what are my best options to charge while I’m there? Does the hotel valet do it? If so, can you trust them?
Or is it better to find a garage? And then do you have to move your car after you’re done charging? How do you know if there will be an available charger?
