Hi there I hope you and your loved ones are all ok.  I'm so thankful that my family got through the last 6 months safe and well. I hope you and yours did too. It's just been announced that Covid is rising again, and the next 6 months are going to be really tough for us all too.  Take care and stay safe. You may not have heard from me, but I am pleased to reassure you that my little business has survived the last 6 months.  Juggling my business with home-schooling was 'tricky' but we all got through it.   With these reduced working hours I ..read more

Hi there I hope you are all safe and well and have found some calm throughout these last few weeks. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the incredible care and commitment of our NHS staff, care workers and key workers.  You are all amazing and very much appreciated.  I realise just how lucky we are to be working and home-schooling our kids in the safety of our home and count our blessings that we have stayed well.  My little business has been busy,  as lots of you...  like me.....  are knitting your way through this lock-down.  ..read more

Hi there, I really hope you are all ok and are finding ways to get through this safely.  I'm sorry I've been quiet, but if I'm honest I haven't known what to say to you.  Life as we know it has been turned upside down, and like you I am trying to come to terms with where we are and what the next day may bring. We went into isolation early as the kids had coughs and felt unwell, so we are now heading into our 3rd week at home with the recent lock-down in place.  It's been tough at times, but we are all well and counting our blessings for that. I really ho ..read more

Hi there, Life just seems to be getting busier and I just haven't found the time to write a blog post for a while....... but as these photos make me smile I just had to find the time to share them with you. If you have followed my blog for a while you will already know that my children normally ask for themed hand-made birthday parties at home. My children have always loved to dress up in costumes and create make-believe stories, so I do my best to immerse the children into a magical imaginary world at our parties. This year's theme was MARY POPPINS! The kids dressed up as Mary P ..read more

Hi there Spring is emerging and the studio is looking fresh and colourful. Heaps of snowdrops and daffodils have been blooming just outside my studio window.... and the birds are singing. I love spring! I am settling into the studio and getting to know the other artists and designers in our little creative community here in Oxfordshire.  Everyone is sooo busy, but we managed to put our needles/brushes/tools down.... at the same time, for a spring get-together here at Cuckoo Lane earlier this month.  I really enjoyed spending the morning with this group of inspiring and tale ..read more
