Since the start of the school year, VIMSIA has been experimenting with miMove, an innovative new app for young people to record details of all their physical activity. From babes in strollers to mature runners 60+, more than 252 community members (most of them students!) completed the 10K, 5K, or the 1K kids “Fun Run” races and crossed the finish line at Magen’s Bay during the 8th annual M2M Road Race last weekend. It was the biggest turnout post-2017 hurricanes for the road race, which has continued to grow in support and participation since its inception. Ground support was provided by St. Thomas Rescue, who diligently provided traffic control and kept runners and walkers safe. Students chose an artist to emulate and created a piece of their own and today and tomorrow they are showcasing their work to our community with an Art Gallery.
