Hi im new to credit card and im having a rough time understanding payment due date and statement date
My statement date is every 13th of the month My payment due date is 25 days after the statement date
Q1: if i purchase items on the 12th or on the 13th of the month, when is the best time to pay it?
Q2: if i purchased items on the 5th should i pay it before my statement date comes?
Q3: if i purchased items after the statement date, when should i pay it? Should i pay it on the due date or before the next month's statement date?
Thank you!!

I’ve been paying off the debt of my car for some time now since December 9th of 2022. I’ve got a 60 month term at 465.72$ a month I pay 500, my interest rate is 25.89%. I have been doing bi weekly payments since November and it supposedly helps with shaving time off my loan. At the time I was 19 and I really needed a car I had some money saved up luckily but no credit at all to back it up . Is there any way I can get a better interest rate my car is over 10 years old I have tried a few places but they will not accept me. Any advice will help this is the main bill that really hurts me slowly e ..read more

Hello! I am currently an 18 year old senior in high school; when I turned 18 5ish months ago I got my first credit card which was a Capital One Savor One Student card. With this card I figured with just my Arizona State email that I had access too I could increase my limit from 300 to 500 - I was mistaken. I needed to verify my email through capital one and my ASU email is locked until august. There was a 3 month deadline that I missed to verify that I was a student.
I have 100% payment history, but only 4month credit history and not the best credit utilization because of the low limit. I als ..read more

I have too many cards with annual fees right now and in the next few months will need to go through the headache of calling and asking for retention offers or canceling them.
Trying to focus on no fee cards for now but subs are mostly at $200 for most. Are there any no fee cards right now with elevated bonuses?

Helping a relative find a credit card, but his needs are very different than most. He is a US citizen that lives in the EU with citizenship there as well. He is currently looking for a card with the following criteria: - No FTF - US Rental car insurance: He does not have any and is state side for about a month every year, rental car insurance is expensive. - prefer low AF but he could be connced of any price if it can be justified
Notes: - He flies Lufthansa the most when coming to US - He has a local us credit union cc
I was thinking VX or CSP.
Any reccomendations/experiences/tips are greatl ..read more

After reading a fair bit it seems most people found getting approved based on AU history was unlikely. I did consider opening a checking with chase to build banking relations as that seemed to help. In the end decided to try anyway so here’s the data.

So I’m not sure if I’m doing this right and want to confirm since I’m new to credit cards. So every month I make a small purchase that’s 1-9% of my credit limit, pay it off 100% 2 days before the due date, and a few days after statement date I just repeat that again. I do this with two cards and will be opening more accounts as my score goes up. Is this good? Anything else I should do?

Anyone else having problems activating their priority pass account for the Capital One Venture X card? They told me it takes up to 2 weeks after receiving the card to activate. My account didn't activate after 2 weeks so I called them and the rep said it was taking 3 weeks. It's almost been a month and I'm still not able to activate...
