We want to be the top app on Product Hunt on launch day. By giving us your vote, you'll help us reach more people and make a big difference. Our app is all about helping you make healthier choices, and we have more cool stuff planned for the future! If you're interested in healthy eating like us, please reach out! Hey everyone, I'm Alex, and I'm reaching out to rally support for an important project close to my heart. After 1.5 years of dedication and hard work, my small team and I are on the brink of launching an app designed to revolutionize how we approach food labels and ingredients. Did cutting out sugar help make you more mentally sharp? I have brain fog daily and just feel mentally slow a lot lately. Just wondering if anyone who could relate found relief after cutting out sugar. If so, how long after quitting did you notice a change? submitted by /u/Revolutionary_Run815 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Cravings now?

I’m 30 full days into being sugar/flour/ultra processed food free. I have been having horrible cravings for sugar the last couple days. They last hours long. The only thing I can think of is that I’ve been eating more carrots than usual but even then it’s not that much. I’m not accidentally ingesting refined sugars either because my meals have been homemade and steady. I haven’t even been eating fruit. What’s the deal? Is this normal? submitted by /u/Any_Somewhere_8184 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey guys, I just entered here yesterday, and also, English is not my native language, so please ignore any possible gramatical error. Well, I was kinda addicted to sugar, everyday I used to eat lots of different foods with sugar, and that impacted drasticly my life, my body that I was almost proud of gained a lot of fat that made me be ashamed of it again, and that made a huge impact in my self esteem, I was ashamed of going in public, talking to friends and mostly, when I was in a pool or beach and I just couldn't take my shirt off. Then in a ramdom day I decided to change everything. While ..read more

Canned tomatoes

Hello all!! I'm wanting to make a soup that requires canned diced tomatoes. The three ingredients are diced tomatoes (60%), tomato juice, acidity regulator (citric acid). Is this okay for sugar free? Could tomato juice be indicative of added sugar. The can says low sugar but not no added sugar. I apologise for how dumb this question might be but I'm just wanting to be safe and preferably use what I've already got at home! Thanks ? submitted by /u/docilebody777 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

https://www.cottageonbunkerhill.com/jordan-marsh-blueberry-muffins/ I just made these recipe - original is from NYT Cooking. I'll be using this recipe again. The substitutions I made: Melted butter instead of softened butter, out of laziness 1 cup of Splenda instead of the recommended sugar, and next time I'll try 7/8 cup or 3/4 cup. I don't like them to be too sweet Silk coconut milk instead of milk I used a mortar and pestle to crush the 1/4 blueberries into the milk I didn't use the top dusting sugar submitted by /u/BigDoggehDog [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I went the whole day without sugar. I had a decent day, ate very well and actually enjoyed whole healthy foods!! However, I got extremely upset with myself tonight because I have to get a minor eye surgery this week, Im finally accepting my sexuality, and i have very intense dissociation.... I wish i didnt have to resort to sugar as my coping mechanism but like its literally a quick hit, like getting high in a way. Crazy! I definitely want to overcome this for my health and happiness :) submitted by /u/musicalmuse1995 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
