The premise of the game is that you play as a sentient sword that can take control of the body of anyone who touches it. This essentially gives the player the ability to play as any character in the game, bosses included. The story begins with two adventurers, a knight and a squire, as they travel through the tutorial zone in search of an elusive artifact (which turns out to be the sword).
