I was kindly contacted by Erborian a few weeks ago to give my thoughts on some of their best selling skincare and cosmetics. This is a brand that I have been wanting to try, however I do prefer to shop in person so I can feel and smell products before purchasing as textures and finishes do count towards my final purchases – something I am unable to do while online shopping. When the box came to my door I was astounded by the quality of the box, packaging and the handwritten note in the box which was a lovely personal touch! The products selected were chosen by Erborian themselves as I told the ..read more

After waiting patiently for this game to be reduced on the Nintendo E-shop, I managed to grab Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 with 50% off during July 2020. Having the games for the original consoles, I wanted to re experience these classic games on my Switch. Final Fantasy VIII Remastered. Image: Square Twitter. If you asked me what Final Fantasy game is my all time favourite, 8 would be my answer before that sentence has even finished coming out of your mouth. Although I may have been 8 years old at the time, I can vividly remember getting emotional playing this game, getting excited when having t ..read more

As a makeup artist I’m always looking out for the latest trends and palettes to get my creative juices flowing. Last week I was contacted and sent a palette by LaRoc Cosmetics to review. Nintendo Online Expansion: The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina of Time

When I watched Nintendo Direct, I was not prepared for the gasp that left my body when I saw Ocarina of Time come up on my screen with the possibility of Majora’s Mask coming onto it as well. I thankfully pay monthly for my Nintendo Online, so I was prepared to accept for the Expansion I would probably have to pay upwards of £40 on the spot to access it. If you know me, The Legend of Zelda has a special place in my heart, it was the first game I had that locked me in, I was able to discuss with class mates and helped me escape as a child. Thankfully in the UK it was £34.99, a lot cheaper than ..read more

YSL Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer

I’m not a fan of silicone based primers, however I thought I would give this a try as I received it as part of a try me bag through my work. I’ve never got on with silicone primers, mainly as it clogs my pores resulting in breakouts, slides my makeup around in oily places and just makes my makeup sit very poorly. However, I love trying things and being proved wrong and finding new things to use. This primer retails for £32 for 30ml, comes in a glass bottle with gold lid which sits very nicely next to other YSL products. As primers go, it claims it can do all the standard stuff, such as blur s ..read more
