At the regular weekly meeting of the First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve, held last Thursday in the Salt Lake Temple, the committee of the Twelve appointed to meet with Mission Presidents reported that the question of the advisability of discontinuing hitch-hiking by missionaries had been considered by the Mission Presidents in their semi-annual meeting, held Tuesday, April 4, 1939.
