Hi everyone!
I get asked all the time how to resize the Hippo Hobo pattern to make a smaller/mini version, so I thought it was about time I wrote a blog post about it! You can actually use this method on any of my patterns to make them smaller, but I will use the Hippo Hobo Bag as an example for the purposes of this post
When you print your pattern as the pattern states, you will want to chose “Actual Size” or “Custom Scale: 100%”
This will ensure you create a FULL SIZE version of the pattern.
If you want to reduce the size you will just want to change the number you place in the box…

I have been blown away by your enthusiasm for my new pattern the Zip Me Up Hippo Foldover Clutch. Thank you all so much for you support of this pattern! As a thank you I thought I would share a little tutorial on how to add a shoulder strap to this great little bag
So lets get to it!
You will need:
A scrap of Leather.
2 x 1/2″ (1.2cm) d-rings, I used these ones.
2 x Large Rivets (9mm cap x 12mm post), I used these ones.
Chain strap or make your own fabric strap.

Hi Everyone!
I can’t believe we are already in FEBRUARY of 2018! Where did 2017 go?! My little men are slowly getting back into routine after a long summer holiday break. I actually think this was the best holiday break we have had in the last 3 years since M came along – even though we spent part of it toilet training Life with a 3 yr old is slowly getting easier…and it helps that both the 6 yr old and the 3 yr old get along together much better now than they used to
