Hello barber community, still a beginner here and I have a question about a simple short back and sides cut. If someone wants a short back and sides with a n.0.5 guard or just open blade I would go straight up when the clipper reaches the curvature, right? And then blend the bulk of the hair around the parietal ridge with clipper over comb. But as the 0.5 guard is fairly short can I make a good transition anyway with clipper over comb? Hey there folks. So, I’m about to graduate barber school and begin working in a shop that I’ve been going to for 3 years. It’s a 2 chair shop, and the guy is pretty cool. I like him a lot. He’s taken the time to teach me a lot of great information and help me become better with my haircuts.
