I’ve been writing song lyrics for years. I got 100s of pages worth of material that I would like to do something with. I’m not a singer or anything, I would ideally want to team up with a composer or a producer to bring these stories to life. I have no idea where to go or how to go about this, does anyone have any advice?

Anyone know of any good and good priced DAWs? I only know of FL Studio rn but due to shallow pockets I can’t really get that right now. If there’s any cheaper ones that work well please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

So I've been making music for several years now, but it's really mostly been singing over Youtube beats and mixing my vocals. I've been spending the past 2 years learning to produce, and honestly, it has been such a shit show for me.
I hate having to paint in drums into the MIDI...I hate having to spend so much time trying to find the right sound to fill in space...by then I just lose all my creativity and the process becomes boring.
But at the end of the day, I still love music and when I hear songs I love, it just makes me want to make a song of my own. But I'm not sure if I'm just romantic ..read more
