Welcome to our latest blog post where we're excited to share the recent photography session of Emma, a captivating Pekingese and Shih Tzu mix whose personality is as vibrant as New York City itself. In this special session, we also had the pleasure of capturing a few moments with Paco, a playful companion Emma’s parents were dog-sitting. Emma embodies a unique blend of elegance and playfulness, much like the character she's named after by Jane Austen. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Ned, Ted, and their human Janet downtown the other day. Ned is an old lady (13!), who has been through a lot, and she's the love of her mom's life. Ted is tinier and goofier, he's 9 years old and has been a part of the family for 4 years. Despite different ages, and different amounts of time with the family, both of them got them got the better end of the deal when Janet inherited them from their dads. Ned and Ted enjoy chasing balls, a good game of tug-of-war, and relaxing on their mom's bed or in the sun. Ted showing some interest in that weird camera ..read more

Chloe is a lover and a floppy little teddy bear. She looks like a medium sized cocker but is actually really tiny under all of her fluffy fur! Her favorite things include tennis balls, cuddling, and a good belly rub. Stella is a daddy's girl, athlete, and smarty pants. If there is a gate up between her and her Dad, she will find a way around it in record time. She is a soccer star when there is a tennis ball anywhere near her paws! Both Chloe and Stella are senior girls, and pretty mellow. They’re very friendly and laid back once they realize that they are around dog people. Both love spen ..read more

When You Find A Lost Dog
NYC Pet Photography

Yesterday I was sitting down to dinner with my fiancé's family and we were waiting on her sister to come from work. When her sister arrived she had a dog with her. She told us that she had found this dog wondering in the road and brought it back because it was clearly lost, but unfortunately had no collar. The dog seemed to have just been groomed and was incredibly friendly. We found out through trial and error that the dog new several tricks (sit, shake, and hug at least), and we noticed that he also had a bandana around his neck from a local groomer. We contacted the groomer and they said th ..read more

Photoshoot with Lighthouse the Siberian Husky at The Edge Park in Brooklyn

When I met up with Lighthouse I was immediately struck by his intelligence. He seemed to know exactly what it was I was asking for him to do, but as his human, Jesse, put it: he is also stubborn enough to make the choice to not do it. Lighthouse also has one of the most interesting backstories I've heard: When Jesse was spending some time in Greenland he found out that everyone there has a team of Greenlandic Huskies because there aren't many roads and there are no highways. In fact, there seemed to be more dogs than people! While Jesse was there he became enamored with them because they are ..read more

Billy is a 10-month old Cocker Spaniel/Bichon Frise mix, and basically a real-life teddy bear. He was named after Billy's Bakery in Chelsea because his humans have a sweet tooth. Billy is a bundle of energy and a very kind dog. Between running around in non-stop circles and rolling around in the grass for a few minutes, we also met a few dogs along the way and Billy got along really well with all of them. He also found a stick that we played fetch with for a little while. Hoenstly, the only challenge I had photographing Billy was that he kept wanting to come over and cuddle with me. Billy ..read more

Brownie is a 17 year is Teacup Poodle from Western New York. He was named that by his owner Sarah when she was 6 years old because he was brown. Brownie is laid back dog that enjoys sleeping, napping, and generally relaxing, unless of course there is string cheese involved, in which case you would never know he was as old as he is. He is full of energy even though he can't move very fast due to his age, and one of his favorite things in the world is lounging on his mom's pillow with his stinky breath right in her face.     ..read more

Last week I had the pleasure of going to the park for the first time this year.
