When it comes to staging homes, we generally have a couple pricing options for the seller:
(1) the main areas like the primary bedroom suite, kitchen, living rooms, and any main areas that are going to give the most powerful impact and first impression to buyers, and
(2) The whole home to create the ultimate vision for potential buyers.
There’s a reason that the primary bedroom suite is in the first option. Buyers are looking for the ultimate escape, the place to just kick up your feet and go in full tranquility mode. Here are some of our primary bedrooms we have staged recently.&n ..read more

Staging, as you most likely know, is to highlight the features of a home to appeal to potential buyers. We make each room attractive in a way that makes the space warm and welcoming, and ultimately, makes buyers want to drop everything they’re doing to make an offer before it’s too late!
That being said, we at Sanctuary Staging also try to make the space make the most sense to buyers. What would buyers ultimately put in this space? And one thing that I see in many homes – self admittedly in mine too sometimes!, when I initially walk them is the kitchen counter space usually b ..read more

We’ve seen lofts used in many different ways, and we’d love to inspire by showcasing a few memorable lofts we staged below:

Above: This loft serves dual purposes as a living/lounging area and a mini homework/office space. We had the perfect accessories and art to tie in with the dark blue-gray accent wall (Hint: We have the perfect accessories to go with about any color!)

Everywhere you look, whether it be on Instagram, in stores, and any other avenue, muted earthy colors are showing up everywhere in home design. People enjoy bringing the outdoors into their space through plants, the correct color tones, or any other calming element from nature. At Sanctuary Staging we aim to keep design timeless with a few sprinkles of “on-trend” design to appeal to the full scope of buyers.

At Sanctuary Staging, another element to our service is professional photographs of a styled home. Images that are ready for use in an MLS listing are part of our process. Photographers come in shortly after we complete the stage and set up tripods and capture crisp beautiful pictures of the home-inside and out.
When we wrap up our portion of a stage, we take shots with our phones for a few reasons. Interestingly, pictures often can show things we don’t “see” with our eyes. We admit it… busted!… we are human too. So, the simple step of taking a pic ..read more

Intrigue, characters, and plot twists were all part of the tale that was our Bexley Park stage.
On the second floor of our recent home, there exists a library. Now, I’m not referring to a swanky term used to describe an office that’s got a few built-ins. I am talking a floor-to-ceiling bookshelves library. The library was filled with books and a deep blue velvet wing back with leather ottoman. It was the epitome of a storybook moment. The books used, were those of the homeowner’s and were almost entirely children’s books.
In fact, the whole home wa ..read more

Is that a rocket? A silo? I confess. You got me. I didn’t know so I had to do some digging to find out what the structural component of our home on Wilson Ave was called. The feature in question is called a turret and it is most definitely NOT a silo, a rocket, or even a silo housing rocket. The history of turrets goes back a long long way when castles and fortresses needed lookout towers to keep watch and defend themselves. As time passed, the need for such a feature was no longer required but turrets evolved and stayed around as a style for ..read more

As I have gotten *cough* “older” *cough cough* I have come to appreciate the finer things in life. Some I may even attain. Yay! Yay for that! I am blessed. Sanctuary Staging was brought in to stage a home in Galena, OH in which the sellers had also reached that stage of life. Their home was a custom built beauty with many of the amenities that rang true to my inner wish list. In such a home, staging needed to accentuate those attributes.
I know I’m *cough* old because some of the things I loved the most about this home were the ones tha ..read more

I, quite possibly, could be one of the few remaining humans around who owns and regularly still uses my TWO hardcopy dictionaries. According to my Second College Edition of The American Heritage Dictionary, the word “cute” is an adjective meaning delightfully pretty or dainty; charming. That’s all fine and dandy except I am going out a limb-against my dictionary-to create a new use of “cute” as a verb.
I say I’m going rogue because I can’t think of a better way to describe what Sanctuary Staging did when we came in to work on 5523 Roche Dr. We “cuted” the hec ..read more

Our latest staging adventure took us to the Westworth Village neighborhood in Worthington. When we walked this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, we knew instantly what inventory would work perfectly to maximize the space.
When we stage, we present a home that is a simplified version of itself. It’s always clean and sometimes freshly painted too. We press all the bedding and carefully select just the right art, decor, pillows and more. We then thoughtfully place items. Sometimes, we tinker with arrangement and sometimes, we over-prepare and wind up bringing a f ..read more
