Record Store Day Releases 2018 Our Picks. We’re big fans of vinyl here at the Museum, not that we really need to tell you, you can see that from our vinyl collection below, which is actually the largest on display record collection in Ireland. You can also see us wax lyrical about how we think vinyl just sounds better here. Don’t get us wrong, we still listen to Spotify and stream online but there’s something about sinking into the couch and listening to your favourite album that is epitomised by the crackle of our favourite record on a  player. Irish Rock N Roll Museum Fans Favourite Lyric Did you know that on this day in 2006 VH1 declared U2’s lyric “One life, with each other, sisters, brothers” the UK’s favourite Lyric above The Smiths, Bob Marley, Nirvana, and Coldplay. For an Irish band to top their charts that is pretty impressive. Now we’re clearly the Irish Rock ‘N’ Roll Museum, but now that we’re thinking of it, 12 years on do you think there are any other song lyrics that may have been released that would top it? Vote Yes or No and maybe leave a comment or two of suggestions for what you would vote the Irish Rock N Roll ..read more

When U2 announced that they were releasing their first piece of vinyl I joined the queue outside Advance records, just beside Dandelion and got a copy of the 12inch limited ..read more
