Large umbrellas up. Cocktails by the many. Sunglasses on bridge. It’s time to party! Strip- No wait, that’s too far. It’s summer. It might not be summer where you are but one little thing…it’s always summer in Seychelles. Grab a beach bag and throw that swim suit in with a few bottles of liquid courage and some top notch sunglasses because in Seychelles when it’s time to party, we say let’s go to the beach. However there’s one thing you won’t really find in Seychelles. Seychelles doesn’t have a nude beach, it is not something that has been talked about or might be talked about, maybe in the fa ..read more

Seychelles is not just a country that represents the pearl of the Indian Ocean or the heart of the Indian Ocean. The island and its people make it their mission to make sure that Seychelles always stays true to its identity, there may be outside forces however the people of Seychelles always find a way to stay united and true to their identity. This is not about the language being used or the food that the daily household provides but rather the words in the national song. Almost everyone knows the pride of singing the national anthem and most will agree that the national anthem is the moment ..read more

The first thing to check before going to another country is the location itself, if the trip will be worth the value of its currency demanded and if connecting to the family and friends I left at home will be possible. Although Seychelles is a small isolated island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, there are ways to connect to your family and friends back home. Getting off at the Seychelles airport, from the plane you have to go through customs first, obviously. And when you’re done you can simply walk out and you’ll see small booths selling SIM cards, the most common services here in Seyche ..read more

Do it once, it was memorable, do it twice it was iconic but do it thrice it goes down in history, however the circus of Samoa doesn’t need to visit a place more than once to go down in history. From their opening act to the bow the circus of Samoa surpasses expectations. The magic circus goes by its name, the colors within their presentation brings shame to the rainbow; and the atmosphere they create leaves the audience craving for more and more. An important staple to making a house a home, in my opinion, is the interior design. Growing up, furniture and art made up a huge part of my childhood; my grandmother and mother would frequent the likes of Bali and Thailand for rare and beautiful, wooden pieces to go into their house. Nowadays, we’ve calmed down in the Eden household. Most of our new pieces either come from Island Living, Concept or DIY Seychelles. At Island Living, for example, we can find furniture and decor from India and Bali and other Asian countries, right here in Seychelles. The range of antiques and furnishings are to ..read more
