I'm wondering about how to say "business casual" in french which Google translates as "Vêtements décontractés", but a google image search of both terms doesn't give the same types of clothes. I'm a french tutor and am looking for the term for my students, but I'm not into fashion at all (jeans/baskets every single day), so I figured we could compile a list of english terms with their corresponding faithful french equivalents (when they exist!)

Voici mon sondage .

Hi, I’ve never posted on here before but I’m desperate for advice!! I don’t know how many of you are English and could help but I’m a GCSE student from the U.K. about to do my French speaking exam (Foundation level) and I‘m desperate for advice… I’m predicted at a 4 or 5 (or a grade C) but need to lock in at a 5 because it’s the highest you can get at foundation. Does anyone whose done this exam have any wisdom to pass down to what is hopefully a future doctor?!?!?!

For example, do « Son histoire à propos de ses auditions de chorale était très triste » & « Son histoire sur ses auditions de chorale était très triste » mean the same?
Intended meaning: “His story about his choir auditions was very sad”

I’m currently learning passive and causative faire, but I’m really struggling with understanding how to reframe a sentence using it. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions to better understand it? Thank you!!
