Hello, Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask. I'll remove this post if that's the case. I plan on purchasing an electric guitar in Japan and bringing it back to Canada on the plane (estimated value will be about 1500-3000 CAD). Since it is a high demand route it is likely that there won't be room in the cabin and the guitar will most likely be gate-checked. Due to the high chance of being gate-checked, I want to purchase insurance for the guitar just for the flight. Is this sort of insurance even offered? Who can I purchase this from?
