So my dad bought me a ps3 in 2008, 16 years later i was just told that my ps3 is jailbreaked, apparently it was to get around region locks and to get full access to the ps3 library. 5 Years ago, my phat ps3 encountered the ylod, i looked up tutorials on how to fix it, but it all pointed to tearing down the machine and getting access to the syscon. I DID THAT. Me. Saw it sitting there for 46$ for days. 48 bid at 5 minutes, then 51 at 3 which held. At 30 seconds I raised my max bid to 75 just in case. Now It will replace the 320 super slim, and the super slim will be hard reset and take everything off of my salvaged crashes on everything but SO4 fat 80gig. I'm curious to see if the 80gig will stop crashing on most games with a hard reset and reinstall. Hello, my ps3 has been having problems, occasionally It doesn't like to read DVDs but will after a few tries, but right now the only thing it will read is a ps1 disc. I just tried a brand new blu ray, a ps3 game and a DVD and nothing is reading, the disc spins, readjusts and spins and gets quiet nothing happens. I have 2 old ps3s: one 120GB big bulky one from 2008 and one slim from whenever slims came out. I tried plugging a usb stick with some old family videos into both ps3s to show my wife but the usb isn't showing up at all on either ps3. It's not an issue of formating as the files are in exFAT - it's just as if the usb isn't plugged in at all. The strange thing is when I go to game data and upload game save files it shows me that the usb stick is an option, and I'm able to upload/download save data to it, but when I click video/music/photos there's no USB there.
