Found in approximately 24% of our products, including green beauty products, Phenoxyethanol is a preservative to prevent bacterial growth and, for me, one of the best ways to quickly spot if a brand is greenwashing. Sadly, I do see this ingredient used in most clean beauty brands today so it is a hard one to avoid!
