It seems even at high power settings it cuts like butter through 90% of it then leaves the last little bit uncut. I imagine it has something to do with it being transparent at that last 5-10%. Looking to purchase a fiber laser engraver. I want to make pcb boards. I watched a youtube video showing a proof or concept. It seems easier/cleaner than the current method I am using. Was hoping you guys can answer some questions: Any one you guys would recommend? A quick Google gave me Monoport and Commaker. Any good? What strength do I need it? For the above mentioned, 100 watts is max. They have 20 watt models, but I am apprehensive. Hello all, I am looking at this as a potential side hustle to make some extra cash. So I am just learning and have a few questions. What is a good laser to start off with? I have no illusions of grandeur expecting to make 6 figures from the start. I would like something that I can use often and will last for a while though.
