I found a pack of 100% organic soybean curls for a pretty cheap price and I'm shocked I was sleeping on dehydrated soy. Only a few seasonings and then baked, they became pretty crispy without needing oil or flour. I love tofu and tempeh but I'll be stocking up on these from now on. They only take 10 minutes to soak and don't take up room in the fridge ? I'm going to play around with marinaded, because there's so much more potential. I think TVP scared me away, but I'm team dehydrated soy now ?

I am doing a 12 week cut, need to hit between 100g to 150g protein a day.
If its doable then what is the best way to do it, shakes with soy milk are around 500 calories for 50 grams of protein which isnt really ideal doing it that way, what do you suggest?

I have been lifting for about 10 years with the goal of improving at beach volleyball. I have ran many different programs from 5x5 to PHUL, PPL, 531, and some on apps. I tend to try for 6 months to see what the results are. So far, I have either gained strength or speed. So I wanted to modify 5/3/1 to get both, please let me know what you think:
The idea is to use oly variations as a warm up, and spice up the 531 part with speed movements, then do the 5x10s on the "opposite" of the upper/lower movement of the day, and finish with a burn out. This takes 60-80 minutes each session, 4x week.

I've been cooking and lifting for a while, and I always spend so much time "designing" a meal and stressing over the macros, because I have to juggle between three factors:
Being a food enthusiasts, there are recipes I like that I cannot compromise on
My macro goals, which get stricter in the cutting phase
Living alone means I often cannot use up a whole package or can of food in one cooking, and the fridge space is expensive real estate
For example, my menu today is Japanese curry rice, in which rice and potatoes are indispensible. Originally I wanted to add beans for protein, but that wou ..read more

Hi :) Not vegan specifically related but I'm a vegan who lifts and need some help.
I'm from the UK but coming to spend a month in the US, I'm used to loading my bars in KG but the gym I am going to uses lbs so I'll need to convert.
I know i could just convert weights on google, but is there any fitness apps or anything that give comparable barbell weights? What to load on the bar? My brain can't really get round the fact the barbell is 44lbs and I'm horrific at maths!
