LIFE AMONG GHOSTS © ghostlyactivities.com When I was kid I couldn’t go to sleep, Scared that the ghosts were lingering beneath. Now as an adult, well I still struggle. I live among ghosts, vying for trouble. We have always read it, haven’t we? All those morals and ethics but did we see? The light they were kindling inside of us Originated in the darkness of dead corpus. Reality is far removed from those lessons. Selfish preach selflessness for long sessions. Tables are turned before you could sit down. Twisted stories decide who wears the crown. As the lies pile on with backst ..read more

LIFE IS A RACE
Shivam Murari's Poetry

Life Is a Race © The Gospel Coalition Mary had a little lamb Whose love was pure as snow. And everywhere that Mary went The lamb was sure to go. He followed and followed unfailingly Relishing even her presence. Until he started wondering whether His absence make any difference. Down and out, we are like the lamb, Shaping our paths through rejections. Trained to participate in tough races, We’re struggling in forced directions. Race to prove oneself inarguably right. Race to seek validation in others’ sight. Race to save relationships already broken. Race to leave behind word ..read more

JUDGEMENT ©greymadder.com “Silence please! Everyone will now stand up!” Case no. 13: Judge Vs I. “Prosecution may proceed.” “Mr. I you’re accused of Being dramatic, which you are. Your anger is unjustified. You have no right to feel sour. “You’re unworthy of your acclaim. Your conspiracies go amiss. The jury declares you guilty. And the court is dismissed.” Lips parted and closed, wordlessly. I stood aghast in unceasing doubt. “Without a valid proof or argument How could the judgement come out”? “No accused pleads guilty.” The judge scorned and sniggered. “There are anonymous ..read more

THE ZODIAC WHEEL – Part 1 -Shivam Murari In life, we often cross paths with our alter egos. More often than not, we hate them to the core. For, we profoundly criticize those qualities in others that we secretly hate about ourselves. Aman was a diligent hardworking scientist. Was. Now his wrecked body was lying on the desk where, earlier, his towering files of completed work had stood. His files, all on the ground. The optical tube of his telescope, with which his head had been smashed, was half outside the window, all bloodied up. The eyepiece had been broken and punched into his chest ..read more

MENINIST

MENINIST © time.com A common man’s experience with modern-day feminism. Prologue: It’s impossible to start a movement, Have it in full swing, Yet prevent it from going To the other extreme. It’s imprudent to culminate involvement, Have a large mass, Yet not expect scatterbrains To drive it downstream. There was once a time When stereotypes were galore. Class, gender, race, caste, The society would bore. A change was necessary To bring forth the suppressed. To look for their soul And not the way they were dressed. One such was feminism, An endeavour for equality, That progre ..read more

ASKING MY KEYS BACK © erikthomas.deviantart.com © wall.alphacoders.com You found the keys to my heart Unlocked the door walked in. You dusted off the unused house, Opened the windows, let it begin. You set up the gas stove, cooked delicacies. The aroma of your love, spread throughout. Crease on the carpet, you straightened. The ones that had accumulated without. Then came the night, when you wore the dress Spread the rose petals, set the bed. Lights were turned off; it was pretty dark. Yet, for the first time, my heart glowed bright red. The house that ha ..read more

Hello there! It's been a while since I released my last poem. I have been keeping really busy with my other affairs and couldn't possibly get to completing poems. So, I took a major hiatus. But rest assured, the next work is going to be one of my more ambitious ones. I have been working on it very regularly, in small bits, adding intricacies over intricacies. I really hope you would like it. Like my last four poems, again this would showcase a different style of writing and a different theme. It's mood would be very reflective of December. I hope you all like it. See you soon!  ..read more
