Automated time keeping solution

Good morning. We’re a small recruiting agency and I need help finding a good time keeping solution for our contractors. Ideally, l would like one that the contractor uses to record their time and then gets routed automatically to the hiring manager at the end of the week for their signature. We currently use ADP but it’s not the best due to constant glitches on the contractor side. I also have to manually send it to the hiring manager for their signature at the end of the week. Just checking if anyone has experience with a seamless, automated solution? Thanks! submitted by /u/Civil_Commissio ..read more

Psychological collapse in abundance of job opportunities as a job seeker

I am a great professional with a good reputation. I got at least one message a day on LInkedIn from a recruiter that hunts for someone to hire. I have a lot of money and the jobs that I'm looking for offer me a lot more money than I can spend. I love what I'm doing. It has always been my passion and gives me a lot of joy. And yet I've been seeking for a job for the last 7 months and I haven't been able to find anything. It's an elimination game and I don't even know what to choose. I'm not even able to pick anything or proceed with a recruitment process because it gives me so much anxiety and ..read more

Pivoting out of recruitment

After 10 years in IT recruiting, the last 4 operating my own firm... I think I'm ready to put this industry behind me. I used to love it, but the pandemic changed too many aspects of the business, and not for the better. The parts I enjoyed the most was relationship building, taking clients out and getting to know them personally and professionally. Now that so many people are work from home, the networking aspect and in-person meetings are few and far between. I shine when I'm face-to-face, and find phone and zoom meetings impersonal and inefficient. I also hate the direction LinkedIn has ta ..read more

Can someone explain me how does the hiring of someone with a disability works in big consulting firms? Since the disclosure to the accommodations given? Who’s responsible for the final decision, manager, hr, both or is it more complex? Can you explain the difference when someone discloses per se or when referenced by an association too. Thank you. submitted by /u/Osodrac13 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Background - I am a recruitment student currently doing my internship at a recruitment agency. I am generally very positive about AI and very curious to investigate how artificial intelligence can facilitate everyday work in the role of a recruiter. I am investigating the question "How can AI be the recruiter's assistant in everyday work?" and therefore ask: How do you, as a recruiter, use AI in your everyday tasks? submitted by /u/ManetPoet [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

As a candidate, I've seen companies send me links to one-way video interviews, the experience isn't pleasant. I'm sure there is some logical reason why they do this, I'm just curious know why? submitted by /u/Due_Pollution_2233 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Benefits of choosing a recruitment agency

Hey fellow Redditors, As a recruiter, what kind of offer do you typically provide to your clients? I've noticed a trend (I may be wrong) where some companies offer a 'free replacement' if the candidate leaves the organization within a certain timeframe. What types of benefits or guarantees do recruitment agencies typically offer to their clients, such as free replacement guarantees or other incentives? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! submitted by /u/frostbyte189 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Selecting job boards outside of the major ones (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.)

My company (remote tech) is hiring and we are finding that many of the traditional job boards (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed) are very expensive and generate poor quality applicants (including scams/bots). We're now exploring other options. What criteria do you look for in job boards and how do you select the best ones? Thanks submitted by /u/pookipooks [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Looking for new Recruitment role

I've been with an agency for a couple of years (first recruitment job). No complaints about them at all and I enjoy working there, just my personal performance hasn't been up to standard. I want to prepare for if I'll be let go. This is my first time looking for a new recruitment position. Does anyone have any advice on the best places to find suitable roles. Any particular rec2recs you would recommend? Any advice for getting into internal recruitment as that's something that interests me. submitted by /u/Thr0w4w4yxcx [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
