Dr. Andy Hernandez passed away on August 27th in the ICU at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas secondary to COVID-19. Since graduating from residency in 1996, he has served the San Antonio community. Half of his career was spent with the Methodist system at the Metropolitan hospital in service to the indigent and impoverished of San Antonio, and he finished his career working with the Veterans in the emergency department of Audie L.
