In the past year or two my testosterone injections have gone from pretty much painless every time, to painful and sometimes excruciating. The last time I spoke to my endocrinologist about it, she said it may be because my skin is becoming physically thicker. She recommended an auto injector, but for some reason the idea of using such a big mechanism for one time uses rubs me the wrong way, I feel like it creates a lot more waste than just syringes.
