  The Dallas Lace Society Fourth Quarter Fall Newsletter November 2021 October 26, 2021 Business Meeting Summary We had our first meeting in the new Forest Green library.  It was exciting to be back again and we hope to continue meeting regularly on Tuesdays from 11 AM to 3 PM and on the second Saturday of each month from 1 PM to 4 PM. Here is the first newsletter for the NEW YEAR. I suppose every one is over the excitement of the holidays and are ready to get back to the everyday things. I don’t know what each of you is working on, but it will be interesting to see. I still am working on the piece that Debbie gave me and it is hard to keep my attention on it. I’m afraid my tension is not very good and I keep trying to get better at it. President’s Message   I want to take this time to thank Cathy for the Honiton workshop. I would like to say I finished mine, but that wouldn’t be truthful so I will say that it is waiting for me to find a way of finishing it and get something else on my pillow, but probably not Honton at this time. The hardest part of being president is writing the words that will keep everyone inspired, but here goes:  Today going through Pat's lace collection we will be remembering Pat all over again, but I know she will be happy sharing what she has left behind. Now to look forward to the upcoming events that are not that far away. Alex’s lace classes and getting to see friends and enjoy the friendships that have been built along the way.
