20th Century Studios seem to have had high hopes for The First Omen, but unfortunately it appears it hasn’t delivered. Despite a massive promotional push, and being quite the critical darling, the prequel finished below initial estimates on its opening weekend. Originally slated to bring in $15 million domestically, estimates were slashed when The First Omen managed only $3 million on its first day.
