For Matt and Nancy, who are Childcare Worldwide supporters like you, investing in clean water projects is an easy win. They first connected with CW as sponsors, directly impacting the life of a number of needy children around the world. Matt told us that they were impressed right from the start. They received photos and personal letters from their children, and could easily see the difference they were making. Over the years, Matt and Nancy have given very generously to support their sponsored kids and many of our other holistic needs programs. But then they started hearing about the water cri ..read more

Pastor Allen and his team at Fountain of Life Church in Mukono, Uganda were faithfully praying for a water solution for their congregation. They dreamed of being able to fulfill the hope of their name, by providing their community not only with life-giving physical water but with the truth of Jesus, the Living Water too! Their village does have a bore hole, which is where everyone went to fetch water. But it’s not free – the owners lock it at night and charge everyone a monthly fee to access it. If you can’t afford the fee, you can’t get water. For the leaders of the church, this was a big pro ..read more

After abbreviated celebrations last year, we are SO excited to be hosting big Christmas parties for our kids around the world this year! We’ve been praying for months now that no new lockdowns would impede our Love Pack plans, and so far it seems that prayer has been answered. The first parties happened in Uganda this past week, with many more to follow in Kenya, Peru, and India. Even Thailand and Sri Lanka which are still in lockdown will be able to distribute gifts. It’s a blessing to be able to share the joy of this season with each of the kids we serve, and so fun to see their smiles as th ..read more

At 18 years old, Daphine’s life just changed forever in the BEST possible way. Growing up, Daphine has always felt somewhat trapped. Mom always took the kids to the local Catholic church every Sunday. But Daphine never met Jesus personally there. Instead, she was taught th ..read more

Maureen remembers it vividly. She was about eight years old, standing outside her boarding school with her brother. The term had just ended, and she was waiting for her mom to come pick them up. One by one, the other children were all picked up, until eventually it was just Maureen and her brother left. But nobody came. That was how she learned that her mother had passed away during the term. It had always been just the three of them – they knew of no other relatives, and had nowhere to go.  On that day, Childcare Worldwide became Maureen’s family. It was through sponsorship that Maureen ..read more
