I can’t believe my baby is turning four next week! It’s crazy how fast they grow up. Dean and I have loved watching Finn turn into such a smart, loving and hilarious little boy. So in honor of his birthday next week, I decided it would be fun to do a little #TBT and take a walk down memory lane… Do you guys remember all of the documenTORI videos that I shared while I was pregnant with Finn? It had been a difficult pregnancy, and I felt so grateful that we had made it to the finish line together. So I started documenting everything leading up to the day he was born… from visits to the doctor to ..read more

We have all different kinds of pets (dogs, bunnies, chickens, hamsters, and the list goes on…), but our most unique are pets are definitely our bearded dragons! We have four little guys… Slushie, Kisses, Blackbeard and Kizmet. A few of them we actually hatched from eggs, which was so cool. The kids absolutely love them. We keep them in the kitchen (in their terrariums, of course!) and they really have become part of the family. I know they might look a little intimidating at first, but bearded dragons are actually super fri ..read more

I’m so excited to share today’s blog, which is all about the décor and DIYs at Stella’s 8th birthday party… but if you didn’t read yesterday’s post yet, click HERE! I shared photos of all of the incredible food that we served at Stella’s Pastel Japanese Birthday Party, including a sushi cake! It was pretty incredible. But today is all about the décor. I of course turned to my fave accounts on Instagram, and a few of my go-to party supply stores to create the ultimate pastel party for my Buggy. The décor is really what makes a party, and when it comes to a McDermott party you know that we’re al ..read more

I can’t believe how big my babes are getting! It feels like just yesterday when I found out I was pregnant with my first baby girl! So how is it possible that we just celebrated my Buggy’s 8th birthday?! When it comes to kids’ birthday parties you know that I tend to go all out for the special celebratory day. But, with Stella I’ve met my match. She is truly my daughter and was born crafty, AND an amazing party planner herself! She has an eye for details and might be even more of a perfectionist than I am! She truly is a girl with a DIY vision. As far as the party’s th ..read more
