A Christmas luncheon of rughookers is always fun this time of year. I wonder what the people at Olive Garden thought as we stood there sharing what we all had made this last year. Pam Kay had just finished quilting my Cheri Payne Folkart Gathering quilt which I truly love. Hello again it’s me I am watching The Crown mini series while getting out my Christmas decorations to clutter my home with happy memories.It is definitely a two day set up plastic tubs are scattered everywhere. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and as usual I have been having a creative time in my life. No matter how old you are you can make create and enjoy art.It can be a garden a hooked rug maybe quilts painting and photography a million possibilities. There is something about the heart of some lucky  people that love to work with their hands I am one of them.This last year I have worked on two large quilts which have consumed all of my time.I have enjoyed photography and meeting with my rughooking friends and of course working on my garden. Gardening pulling weeds going to rughooking Watching tree trimmers cut down trees that land on neighbors car oh my! It was such a mess as they cut those huge Euculyptus trees.Quilting two quilts at once and one month spent running back and forth while helping out my daughter. There is a new baby horse next door which I love to walk over and visit.Tomorrow going to babysit my grandson for two weeks.Enjoy the pictures of my world ..read more
