Hi All - I'm working to put some real numbers to the time it takes to create new programming. I'm specifically looking at the creation and preparation necessary to deliver new public history tours. We have several ways of receiving donations (network for good, paypal, etc.) but those typically have high fees. We try to get checks for large donations so we don't lose the fees, however we sometimes have agencies, companies, and individuals who have asked for our bank account info to make direct deposits (or electronic checks from their accounts). In 2021 I applied for Google Workspace for Nonprofits for a US-based charitable organization. The process was smooth, fast and satisfactory. We still use Google Workspace for Nonprofit for that organization at discounted fees and we are happy for that. Last year I cofounded another charitable US-based organization.
