I’m back from my 30-day social media sabbatical.
After reconnecting to the matrix, I honestly felt that I didn’t miss out on much. This FOMO phenomenon is not that rational. Once I finished logging in Instagram, I was stuck on the grid for over 3 hours in a vicious cycle of unproductivity. It even left me with a bad feeling in my stomach, similar to a relapse symoptom reported by addicts.

I’m starting tonight. Focus is the goal and I want clarity.
I need to concentrate on many aspects of my life, behavior, personal wellbeing and relationships.
I want clarity in terms of attention while maximizing productivity and maintaining a positive awareness of my surroundings and, most importantly, on who I am as a person. I feel that social media, over the years, has weakened this. As a human being, my efficiency in completing everyday tasks has declined.

In July of 2014, I quit my job to go and travel longterm. I went to Latin America and spent 14 months, roaming around the wonderful continent. Since then, I have worked, independently, as a photographer and a travel professional.
These are the beginning seeds of this blog. I have been pushing back the blogging idea for ages now and I am glad it is finally seeing the light. I decided to jump right in and fix things as I go.
