Imagine that you are walking to your car, after a long day at work to find yourself in a bad situation just a few feet before you get to your car. You are being mugged. That is not the best thing to ever happen to anyone. You can no longer even turn on the news and not see something about someone being assaulted just feet from their car or their homes, and often just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. There are two general types of watches that survivalists, preppers, hikers, campers, hunters etc use: A watch that has additional features such as a digital compass, thermometer, barometer, altimeter, GPS etc.  It allows you to navigate better and understand the weather better.  I’ve got an in depth article about this type of watch on my survival watch page. The other option is a watch that includes paracord on the band and also might include a mini survival kit.  Typically it will include a fire starter as well as compass.  This is the type of watch I’ll be reviewing in this article.  I’ll re ..read more
