I've traveled solo quit a few times and obviously I love solo travel. It's liberating to do what you want when you want, become resourceful, not let little things bother you, make friends with people from other countries and learn to trust your gut. Last month attended the Women's Travel Fest and sat in on a great panel on female solo travel safety. You see it wasn't an intimidating, scare-you-off-travel type of panel. Havana, Cuba This beautiful street was made for people like me--travelers who want photos! The Capital and reality. It's interesting to walk through Habana Centro. It's colorful like Habana Vieja but not as touristy. Centro Habana Antonio, a friendly local that knows how to model. A couple of kids playing in the yard in Vedado, where I stayed.
