Our New Year's resolution is to add a little sparkle wherever we go... and to bring you more products, brands and shop features. What's more, we'd like to share with you ideas and tips for how to use our products. Today, we made this simple card featuring a brand we have added to our shop a few days ago. I was making this card thinking of my friend who will soon start a new job and instead of a 'good luck' card I thought this would be a cheeky alternative. I have used rubber stamps from Stamping Bella's Oddball collection - Sparkle Fairy which is stamped onto Copic Marker X-Pres ..read more

On our last day of the Craft Tools Week, we'd like to say a few words about a quilling comb.  A quilling comb looks exactly like a hair comb with metal prongs.  Comb is widely used in making different designs of quilling flowers, angels butterflies and other floral designs though the usage is not limited to it. Quilling comb usually has 15 prongs and uses looping technique to make different shapes. Some quilling combs have numerical references to tell you how to wrap the paper around the quilling comb. The quilling-comb method is a quick and easy way to make evenly shaped l ..read more

Quilling grid is another useful tool which helps you control paper strips to create various shapes. The grid usually comes with circa 20 pins. The pins allow you to form desiderd shapes, for example: square, trialngle or diamond. The pins have no head so paper slides off nicely when your design is complete.  We offer two types of grids in our store: Without pin drawer With a pin drawer to help you keep the pins in one place ..read more

There is no question about it. For any project which requires glue, you need a glue bottle. A glue bottle helps you avoid making mess and wasting glue. It makes application more precise your work quicker and your life easier. You can find different types and size of bottles on the market. For example, with or without an applicator. However, we found that the key to a good bottle is for it to be soft enough to allow for glue to be squeezed out easily by applying only a little pressure. If the bottle is too hard, precise application is more difficult and you may end up s ..read more

Hello and welcome to Crafty Wizard world! We're very excited writing our first post. You may wonder where the idea for our shop came from? Well, it all started with my Mum who is passionate about quilling, cardmaking, kusudama and anything paper crafts related. She kept saying that there isn't enough selection (for her tastes) in local shops or online and buying abroad is costly.   To make her happy (Mums are super important!) we decided to open an online business to cater for all those Crafty Wizards out there who need a UK based shop with variety of products at affordable pric ..read more
