Time and time again, The past has always been a point of reference for art. I think nostalgia has a huge impact on the human psyche. The sentiments of longing for a period when things were easier, one was happier, things were simpler (usually relating to a point of time in their childhood). How does one keep up with the ever changing demand for new “revolutionary” ideas of what’s “in” which are usually riddled with capitalistic agendas? Maybe one doesn’t have to. An age-old question, can fashion trends be practical? To name a few fashion fads from the past decade.
