Yay, my own lingerie label LEONESSA Lingerie is up – no actually it’s not just up, it’s on! A year ago I would not have thought that. “But why does Instagrammer Michèle Krüsi suddenly make underwear? It’s not the kind of fashion line you’d expect from her, especially since she rarely shows herself in lingerie” is what I hear quite often. And yes, it’s true, it’s certainly not the typical label that you may expected from me – but those who know me know that I don’t like anything typical anyway. But that was not the reason why I decided to start my own lingerie brand with LEONESSA Linger ..read more

THE FASHION FRACTION collection

More than a entire year has passed since the project The Fashion Fraction Collection, a capsule collection for Metro Boutique, started. Yet, I feel like it was only yesterday when I put my first design ideas for the fall-winter collection on paper. And from today on you can finally find and shop them in Metro Boutique stores all over Switzerland as well as online. It’s crazy how time flies and how amazing the feeling is to suddenly hold something in your hands that you’ve been working on for so long. By the way, we shot the photos of the whole collection in Iceland and drove around the entire ..read more

Stand Out. Make Yourself Visible.
The Fashion Fraction

When people ask me what really fascinates me about fashion – in the eyes of many people, fashion is just clothing and clothing is just a means to an end, not to go around the world completely naked and to keep yourself warm, a means to an end as well – oh, I’m sorry I went off toptic. Maybe because I’m getting bored with that question and have answered it dozens of times and, what is more, probably always with the same description, more or less: To me fashion is like a big playground where you can try new things every single day. It is like a toy with which you can reinvent yourself every day ..read more

Tutorial: Quick & Easy Festival Hairstyle (for short hair)
The Fashion Fraction
by Michèle Krüsi

Hell yeah, the festival season in Switzerland and probably in many other countries, has started and I oh-so-am so ready! Outfitwise since a while already, as you might have already seen in this video, but now also in terms of hairstyling, although my new, short hair challenged me quite a bit. Almost 5 months ago I spontaneously had my long hair cut off and now I was faced with the question: “How do you actually style short hair for a festival? After all, I NEVER wore my hair short my entire life and am generally still slightly overtaxed when it comes to doing something creative with it. Nevert ..read more

3 Creative Selfmade Wallart Ideas
The Fashion Fraction
by Michèle Krüsi

Easter is coming closer and with it, at least for me, also the official beginning of spring. It’s the time of year when I start to bloom almost as much as the flowers, bushes and trees outside and feel a great desire to redecorate the apartment and be creative in general. With these three ideas for selfmade wall art, every room looks pretty. Doesn’t it? Also, They are very easy and quick to imitate. Ostern stehen an und damit, zumindest für mich, auch der offizielle Frühlingsanfang. Das wiederum ist eine Jahreszeit, in der ich fast so sehr aufblühe wie die Blumen, Sträucher und Bäume draussen ..read more

5 Ways to Stay Productive When Working From Home
The Fashion Fraction
by Michèle Krüsi

Since almost a year I am completely self-employed as a blogger/instagrammer but also as a freelance graphic designer/art director–you may have noticed this. But what you may not know is that for the first six months I rented an office in Zurich, simply because I was afraid to work from home. Home office phobia I’d say. I was worried that I was not productive enough, that I slept too long and that I didn’t have the right equipment. And that’s just a small excerpt from the many thoughts I had right before I became self-employed, which motivated me to take an office. To make a long story short: I ..read more

einleitung Pressed Flowers. Don’t we all know them from our childhood, those endless flowers we carefully draped in books in order to press them? Well, I’ve always been an impatient kind of person, so I looked around for another, faster technique and found it quickly: – Put a sheet of household paper (or toilet paper) and a sheet of newspaper on top of each other and put the flowers on top of it – Fold the newspaper so that it covers the flowers – Add another household paper – Place the whole thing between two weighting elements (e.g. ceramic plates) – Put it in the Microwave for about ..read more
