What’s the history of Milled Pavement and your relationship with the label. I actually first found you through Nomar Slevik, who was very prolific with early Milled Pavement releases. I’ve always thought of Moshe (owner, CEO) as the face, so that’s wild to think about. My first dealings with the label/collective is when it was more of a crew, in 2002 or so. When Moshe was putting together a compilation called “The Lesson”, he asked Agent 8 and I to contribute a ..read more

Drummachinemike – A Certain Death

Brand new instrumental EP out today from Drummachinemike. With A Certain Death, Drummachinemike has created an immersive experience that allows listeners to become submerged within the space between drums. The concept of place and time are eroded by presenting the listener with the feeling of familiarity, yet simultaneously being exposed to something completely alien and unlike anything heard before. Haunting vocals are layered on top of detuned synthetic melodies to create constantly shapeshifting soundscapes.  The post Drummachinemike – A Certain Death appeared first on UGSMAG ..read more
