Recently I've been so lazy. No motivation to do much. However, saying that there is so much in my life happening. I won't go into details but 2024 is a huge year of change and I don't see it slowing down. I guess I'm being a bit hard on myself. I haven't actually missed a full week of training. Back in the rack today for some squats. Rebounding - 15 minutes. Theragun. Leg Swings and Stretches. Squats - 2 sets/6 reps/bar, 2 sets/6 reps/135lbs, 4 sets/6 reps/225lbs, 225lbs/12 reps. Still feeling under the weather. Energy levels feel alright. I have a meeting tomorrow that may substantially change my future. I think I'll take a break tomorrow. Today and tonight went well. Rebounding - 30 minutes. Now I had a bit of running around to do. After supper I got onto the weights. Rebounding - 30 minutes. Inclined NG Bench Press - 2 sets/12 reps/135lbs, 2 sets/12 reps/185lbs, 3 sets/6 reps/235lbs. I watched Diggstown while training. I've had the Tire Deadlift bar set up ready to go for over a week. Might as well use it. Rebounding - 30 minutes. Light Stretches. Tire Deadlifts (OH Grip) - 2 sets/6 reps/235lbs, 2 sets/8 reps/235lbs, 2 sets/10 reps/235lbs. Rebounding - 30 minutes. I'm still feeling ill but I gotta do something. The last 30 minutes of rebounding was done inconjunction with the Deadlifts. Every 10 minutes a set. Feeling not great but better for doing something. I'm fat, I'm lazy, I'm procrastinating. This morning I woke up with some sinus rawness. There has been some illness going around the house so I thought I would take it easy today. Some time sitting in the garage watching the 2002 World's Strongest Man and I was ready for squats. Rebounding - 30 minutes. Leg Swings and Dynamic Stretches. Squats - 2 sets/6 reps/bar, 2 sets/6 reps/135lbs, 5 sets/6 reps/225lbs. This felt alright. I worked on not locking out at the top but pounding through the reps. I also narrowed my grip. Keeping honest this week on the rebounder. Thursday was 30 minutes, Friday 60 minutes, Saturday 30 minutes. Today I did 40 minutes. Most of my day was spent tidying up the house then getting dinner ready for Easter. Tomorrow I gotta get back under the bar with squats. A little bit busy today running around. I got onto the rebounder for an hour straight. Something I've been doing lately is adding a set of pull up negatives every ten minutes. Today I did anywhere from 20 to 40 negative reps. I'm noticing my arms and lats, pull up muscles, are are getting bigger and stronger. Something to keep doing. Saturday, Monday and today I managed to get some rebounding in. Life is crazy. I will be getting back into uniform. A few formalities left but so far it's looking positive. I also want to work at Nonsuch brewing. I don't see why I can't do both. This week end we finalized the purchase of my parent's new home. We also unpacked the POD of all our contents from the basement due to the insurance claim renovation. To say it's been physically and mentally trying would be an understatement. There is so much going on in my life right now. I applied for and got an new job at a local craft brewery. Definately a dream job as I have a real passion for craft beer. It's casual work. Part-time hours. I'm excited to gain experience in the process of making amazing craft beer. My wife and I are also in the process of moving my parents closer as they are getting older and could use some extra helping hands. We just bought a house on their behalf.
