UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) and IT Learning and Development are accepting applications for its next Blended Learning Transformation (BlendLT) workshop series. BlendLT is open to faculty, instructors and lecturers from all Penn State campuses who are interested in learning how to incorporate remote and online teaching experiences and various technology tools into face-to-face courses.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s Open Education Engagement Series, offered online by Penn State University Libraries, is a series of interactive sessions on topics related to open educational resources (OER). The spring 2024 series focuses on OER technologies and University resources and support available to instructors and staff interested in learning more about OER.
Each of the following one-hour sessions is offered on two different occasions. When registering, participants are asked to select which date they wish to attend.

Recipients of Faculty Engagement Awards will focus on readily available generative AI tools including Microsoft CoPilot and Adobe Firefly. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) has worked since 2009 alongside 55 diverse Faculty Fellows on projects at the intersection of pedagogy and technology. The window to apply for the next TLT Faculty Fellows cohort is open and proposals will be accepted until Friday, April 19.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Fifteen Penn State instructors recently worked with Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) to enhance their remote synchronous and similar courses requiring the use of video by harnessing the capabilities of an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered webcam named the Insta360 Link. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) has announced that its virtual Symposium Lite will return on March 28, the week after the in-person TLT Symposium.
The half-day event will feature four 30-minute, prerecorded presentations followed by 15-minute, live facilitated discussions with presenters. The presentations will be a mix of new material and repeated presentations from the TLT Symposium, allowing participants to continue exploring how technology can enhance teaching and learning.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Collaborative efforts between six Penn State instructors from two campuses and two colleges worked in teams with Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) over the past two years as part of the 2022-24 TLT Faculty Fellows program. Their goal was to enrich the student engagement experience through technology. This included addressing themes such as affordability and inclusion, physi-digital space and radical creativity.
