So I got some car air diffusers and put fragrance oil in them. I have tried a few different ones because it came with 50… I plan on selling these. But I can smell anything and the oil levels havnt changed. The first one I tried worked fine, it made my van smell great for a few days. But all the other ones I’ve had no luck and I can’t figure out why. I tried a different type of diffuser and still no luck. What am I doing wrong? Here are links to the diffusers and the oil I am using. 50Pcs 8ml Hanging Car Air... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRD1KT56?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Zubebe 60 Pack 8 ml C ..read more

I received a diffuser as a gift. The directions were worthless - about how many drops of oil do I need for a 400(ish)ml diffuser to have a decent amount of fragrance, but not be too overwhelming? submitted by /u/Gwenolabar1 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Can tea tree oil in scalp products make you lightheaded / dizzy for 24 hours?

I have been using this scalp leave in treatment with tea tree oil and Rosemary extract on days when I want to skip washing my hair so it doesn’t get stinky overnight. I put it on after work and it seems to work. This last time I used it I started getting lightheaded - not all the way to dizzy and spinning but kinds off balance - hard to describe- very much like a drunk feeling. Because I didn’t want to deal with the oily hair I washed it in the morning. This lightheaded dizzy feeling remained all day but got better the evening. So I immediately analyzed what could be causing this to rule out ..read more

How do you evaluate a new EO company?

Hey all. I'm shopping around for essential oils for a starter kit and I'm intrigued by some of the more artisanal, lesser-known companies. But, I want to be smart with my money - these oils should last me three months minimum and do what they say they do. I'm curious, what do you all look for in a new or unknown EO company? submitted by /u/Rosette54 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Anyone faced this issue? In particular lavender essential oil. My co worker is blasting this from 8am all the way till the end of our shift (around 6pm) in a small office (about size of a bedroom) on a daily basis, for the past 2 years. I’ve started to develop a cough, stinging eyes throughout the day (gets better if I go out for lunch), a sore throat (also gets better if I get out of the room), and red bumps on my skin. I feel almost choked (if that’s the right word) whilst in the room. It has progressively gotten worse over the span of 2 years. Wanted to see if this is indeed the cause? I’m ..read more

Not sure if someone can help me here but I can do my best to describe the smell. Other than the bottle having one of the darker tags like this it had a fresh forest kind of scent, not too powerful when using it in a diffuser. If anyone has any idea which one it could be please let me know, also it was in 2015 so I'm not sure if its still being made. submitted by /u/bpear164 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Has anyone had any success treating the autoimmune disorder lichen planopilaris on the scalp? My case is unusual as a middle aged man. I've had 5 dermatologists in multiple states who are pro alternative medicine say "No! No essential oils on the scalp!" submitted by /u/CoTexCC [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
