While picking up some house stuff at Target, I saw this perfect spring cardigan and had to get it. I’m a big lover of cardigans AND black and white (ivory) stripes, so this was a no-brainer.

Slimming dressing tip: go for a column of color, especially black, for your top and bottom and then add a third piece (cardigan or blazer) and a pop of color with your accessories. I did a pop of red with my leather bucket bag. I’m also wearing my favorite Franco Sarto Waxton boots (living in them lately), as well as pretty Kendra Scott jewelry ..read more

A sandal that looks cool and chic AND keeps my feet comfortable all day? Yes, please! That’s the Jambu way, which is why I’ve been a big fan of the brand for years and years!
This post is a collaboration with Jambu Footwear, a brand that I whole-heartedly support!
This spring Jambu welcomes the Dara, a classic two-strap slide with extra cool details, like pretty woven texture and a chunky buckle. The small wedge heel is both flattering and comfortable. Your feet will thank you for this quality sandal that is approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association!&nb ..read more

They are the perfect chic little bootie, square-toed, cool heel, and super comfortable even for a day of teaching! (Confession: I totally copied Lynn. Loved her booties and had to have them too!) Raw edge jeans, sweaters, and classic wool coats finish off the outfits. I’m wearing my Kut from t ..read more

I pulled out one of my favorite Strathberry bags (the Crescent Shoulder Bag in Bottle Green) for a fun girl time coffee date with Lynn. Did I coordinate my bag to match the seating at Voyager Coffee? I’ll never tell.

Clothes Along with this gorgeous well-made Strathberry bag, I also wore my leopard coat, wide-leg jeans, snake boots, and Kendra Scott jewelry. I also pulled out my pretty cashmere sweater. I find myself waiting for a special occasion to wear it and that’s so silly. Every day is a special occasi ..read more

I LOVE the holidays! And I love adding some extra sparkle and bling to my look to celebrate. Usually I won’t buy a new dress or outfit just for a holiday party. Instead I will take some basic pieces that I already have in my closet and add a little color, texture, or sparkle (or all of the above!).
