Do we have any mindset coaches that are part of this sub? If so, I would really like to hear about your experience starting your practice and what methodologies you use to help your clients shift their mindsets and become their best selves. For context - I am seriously considering becoming a mindset coach as I have experience in my day job working with people to shift their perspectives from fixed/change adverse to becoming more open to change and shifts in working scope. I would just like to hear more from those who are already practicing as a coach. submitted by /u/EnoughNumbersAlready [vi ..read more

Hi! I’ve been invited to guest teach in a very prominent business coach within their offer. I’m having a hard time not being star struck and figuring out how to price an hour workshop with resources. Her program is in the 1-2k price range. This is a first for me, any insights? submitted by /u/Smileitsteaa [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

This is what I have so far. It's a simple 5, each a little wordy but I think they encompass what I'm aiming for. The top 3 are for helping with relationships with others, the bottom 2 are for helping with the individual alone. -Help people know what they want to communicate by offering them questions to ask themselves to find that information. -Break habits of assigning motivations and assumptions to behaviors by adopting a stance of curiosity. -Helping people understand what their partner or others are attempting to communicate by helping them manage difficult, in-the-moment emotions and ask ..read more

Offering a coaching program to clients in the low-5-figure range, financing options?

I'm launching a very unique legacy-focused genotyping-informed health/personal development coaching program. The program will be a substantial investment for my clients in the low-5-figure range, but a great value for the right kind of person. I'd like to offer financing options beyond a 6-month payment plan. I thought I'd ask, maybe someone can point me in the right direction of unsecured financing options that my clients might use that don't have horrendous interest rates. Is there a particular credit card that would be a good fit for this? submitted by /u/throwawaymanca [visit reddit] [co ..read more

My background: I bring extensive experience in mental health across age, race, culture, and service use demographics. Additionally, I have professional experience in the tech/startup field, B2B/B2C sales, and business development. Lastly, I have developed an intercultural approach and honed great cross-cultural communication skills after living in various countries because of my work and educational background. I'm eager to leverage my diverse background in coaching. However, I think I need guidance and clarity on which niche area to specialize in and market myself for, as 'life coach' feels ..read more

I'm a social worker and have been working as a therapist since 2021. I've recently taken up coaching and have identified my niche as people in their 20s and 30s making big life transitions (finishing or returning to school, starting a business, starting a family, dealing with death, etc.). I have been posting on social media and spreading the word via word of mouth, but I'm worried that I haven't seen anyone yet. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations? submitted by /u/almster96 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey y'all. I just started my business this year. Speaker and life coach. I'm getting a few nibbles with my social media blasting, which is good! I'd like to do more in person because I am just better at that. I'm physically disabled and use a power wheelchair, so I do what I can. I have my business cards. What are some good ideas for in person networking? Some things I've considered: Signing up as a vendor at festivals and conventions (can be expensive) Continue handing out business cards and practicing Word of mouth Attend local business networking events Register with Chamber of Commerce Ar ..read more
