Bin Bin Q Barbecue

Since coming back from Asia I have made it my mission to start seeking out all the best Asian food in the city. Thankfully word of my quest seems to have spread and the invitations have been flooding in. Bin Bin Q Barbecue is located a short walk from Euston station on Drummond street, an area that seems to be becoming very popular for Chinese cuisine. The restaurant itself isn’t all that fancy, though to be honest it fits in well with all my other experience of Chinese BBQ, this is not a bougie style of dining. I’d had a long day so was very keen to have a drink. Thankfully they did hav ..read more

Sugo at Vinegar Yard – SE1

Since it opened earlier this summer I have been dying to go to Vinegar Yard by London Bridge Station. The small faux grassed area is a mix of market stalls and food trucks, but the reason for this visit was that I was invited down to give Sugo a try. Stay tuned to the end I also have a free dinner for four to give away too! Sugo is an Italian food truck specializing in Italian street food. Unlike the whole world who seems to have gone keto (Chubby Hubby included) the Sugo menu is carbs galore. Since there are only half a dozen options we decided to get one of everything. First up are th ..read more

Top 10 Best Eats in Tokyo

Tokyo is an incredible city that I have been fortunate to visit twice this year. My Chubby Hubby is one of the world’s biggest rugby fans and insisted that our first holiday be back to Korea and Japan to watch the Rugby World Cup. Whilst I don’t have much interest in the game itself, I was very happy to go along and continue eating my way around the city whilst my beloved watched some men throw a ball around a field. If you missed my Top 10 Tokyo Eats list the last time, then be sure t check that one out too! 1. Tonkatsu – On my last visit I didn’t get to eat Tonkatsu as I was here alone w ..read more

Honest Burger – WC2

If there is one food I honestly love its a good burger. Throw in some chips and that’s a meal I would happily eat as my last on earth. If you are a regular reader you may recall that I wrote about my long and never ending search for good burgers in Seoul repeatedly, however I have thankfully not had the same issues in London. The city is absolutely full to the brim and bursting with beautiful beefy burgers, and I have been enjoying every last one of them. One place I have become particularly found of is Honest Burger, who have various locations across London. I was first invited a few wee ..read more

Coupette E2

I think you all know how much I love a good cocktail, and I am always on the look out for a new hot spot. A few weeks ago I went along to Coupette in Bethnal Green with Beast Magazine. The bar has a very NYC kind of a vibe about it – sleek and stylish, with a hint of art deco. The jukebox blares out a cool mix of 60s/70s/80s rock and glam which only adds to the effect that you are in a very hot spot.  The menu is a little on the poncy side, the titles leave you wondering exactly what you might get, but turn to the back of the booklet and you will find some wordier descriptions. There isn’t a ..read more

Flour & Grape – SE1

Recently the Instagram invites have been rolling in and a lot of restaurants in London have been contacting me and asking me to give their food a try. The best part about the free food is the fact they don’t even want me to write blog posts, they literally just want insta coverage. In fact I’m sure not a lot of them even know I have a blog. Meaning that I get to go and try all these amazing foods for you and I get to choose the best ones to write up for you here. One such place was Flour and Grape, which I just had to write about. I rocked up in Bermondsey on a Thursday lunchtime to find t ..read more

Gunpowder E1

Although Brick Lane is known as the home of curry in East London, it isn’t necessarily home of the best curry. One place that is vying for the title and getting a huge amount of traction is Gunpowder. The small restaurant is located just a short walk away from Brick lane by Spitalfields Market. When we arrived at 6pm on Tuesday we were lucky to grab one of the last tables, and people turned up all the time we were there looking to be added to the wait list. If you aren’t a fan of queuing then you might want to try and get a reservation at their second, larger, location in London Bridge. The re ..read more

Halo Burger SW9

All around the world there seems to be two huge food trends happening. Healthy and ecologically sustainable, and indulgent over the top fast foods. The Beyond Meat vegan burger patties seem to hit both of these trends. I had been meaning to give them a try ever since they came out earlier this year. However I have to confess I forgot all about them until a fellow food blogger Gem Takes Food Pics reached out to me and invited me to go to Halo Burger with her. It was so nice being the guest of someone else, it meant I just got to just chill out and enjoy my meal, though I couldn’t resist doing a ..read more

I am back in Seoul, and of course I have been itching to check all the newest and coolest spots to share with you. You know I love to find restaurants that offer you a taste of home that is hard to find. Czech food in Seoul is a very underepresented cuisine, so when I was invited to come and check out Czech restaurant Praha Pub in Sangsu, I knew it would be the perfect place to share with you. I have to confess I do not have much experience with Czech food outside of eating at the Czech House at the Winter Olympics, however what we did eat there I found to be absolutely delicious. The coz ..read more
