One of the biggest reasons I started this blog, besides the hoop-dream of an idea of maybe one day making a living from this site, was to candidly reveal my struggles in sobriety. I hoped that it might help others that are on their own similar path, and help them feel less alone. The bottom line was that I didn’t want others to have to suffer as I did in silence. I had felt so alone in the world with my thoughts, not to mention how much pressure I put on myself to never expose these self-perceived twists in thinking with anyone. It wasn’t until I got serious help that I could start to see just ..read more

It terrified me, and this terror remained within me until recently. A more than two and a half-decade long knot in my stomach that I couldn’t make peace with.

It turns out that this Neistat brother has had to battle his own demons over the years, but he doesn’t have to do it alone anymore. While many of us have viewed countless Youtube videos of his brother Casey Neistat, it is Van that might be the real diamond in the rough when it comes to story-telling and creativity.
Many of you have probably grown bored of reading my posts about my journey with sobriety over the years, so I thought it might be nice for you to hear another individual’s experience. Sober living is not easy, nor is it linear. I need as much experience, strength, and hope I can get ..read more

Putting Covid and politics aside for a few minutes, Aziz cleverly addresses one common societal problem that many of us can easily be caught in, even if we have the best of intentions. Our inability to practice the restraint of pen and tongue online is highlighted in this short video clip of him speaking about pizza.

Garry Tan has been highlighted in the news lately because of his early investment of a couple hundred thousand dollars with Coinbase that sky-rocketed to more than 2 Billion dollars since the company has gone public.
This co-founder of the highly successful venture capital firm, Initialized Capital, didn’t always believe that he was destined for success in tech. After graduating from Stanford it became quite apparent that breaking into Silicon Valley wasn’t to be an easy feat, and he temporarily thought he would have to fall back into a career of photography to pay his way through life. ” I feel distant from God today,” is one of the most common phrases you’ll hear from people who seek after God. While I too must confess to having spoken those very words over the years, I have learned to hold a different perspective on what that phrase actually means to me now.
If these words have slipped through your mouth from time to time, you might consider looking at the problem with a fresh set of eyes. Take some time to imagine God as a radio station that you tune into. Some days you wake up and turn on the radio receiver and we pick up the station loud and clear, and on other days all ..read more
