Twins in Kindergarten Together?

I have twin girls that will be going into kinder in the fall. They had a nanny the first four years (one nanny is cheaper than two daycares) and have been together in prek4 this year. Should I ask to keep them together or ask to keep them separate? The teachers that are parents if singletons say to split them; the teachers who are parents of multiples say to keep them together… They do well together (for everyone else) and have not had behavioral issues in class so I’m stumped. What would you do? submitted by /u/Middle_Barnacle_5984 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello! i am new to the group! i am currently 17 weeks pregnant with tri-tri Triplets! (all have their own sacks) This pregnancy was a surprise and completely unplanned pregnancy. i found out i was pregnant while holding my 4 month old (who is now 7 months) when my husband was waiting for the urologist to call back to get the process started for a vasectomy ?‍? then finding out that it was triplets was hard considering i didn’t want more kids let alone 3. I am a twin and my husband has siblings that are twins so we knew multiples run on both sides but we didn’t even think of triplets being a p ..read more

Difficulty bonding with one twin

I have almost 8 month old fraternal twin girls who are night and day different from each other. Twin A is social, happy, a good sleeper and eater, is crawling, sitting on her own, 2 teeth, and generally a joy to be around. Twin B has the sweetest smile that woos everyone, but she had yet to crawl, sit unassisted, doesn't sleep well, struggles to eat well, and whines almost all day (I'm guessing out of frustration she can't move as well). Anyways, I'm struggling to bond with Twin B. I have such a sweet relationship with twin A and I desire it so much with B. Twin B is very tense in body, doesn ..read more

What size clothes are you wearing full term?

For the mamas who are close to delivery or have already delivered, what size are/were you wearing towards the end? I’m 20 weeks pregnant and in the market for some new cute summer clothes that will fit comfortably and loose. For reference, I was 140 pounds (5’8”) pre pregnancy and would mostly wear size medium or large for an oversized look. Well, none of my clothes fit now since i’ve already gained 30 pounds. I’m not sure if i should get XL or XXL. Any brand recommendations for dresses jumpsuits and shorts are recommended. Thank you mamas ? submitted by /u/Puzzleheaded_Sky_658 [visit reddit ..read more

Hi! I have 3.5months old boy/girl twins. They are exclusively bottle fed with 60%breast milk and rest formula. The boy has no schedule but it's not so problematic and is usually handled well by the grandmother. The girl is mostly with me and was colic and screamed after every meal at around 6weeks and went upto 10weeks. That being in control, we moved from Germany to Bangalore 10 days ago. Since then she doesn't sleep before 3am here (have to be swaddled tightly) . The sleep pattern is 5/6pm she sleeps and is awake at 7.30pm Play until 8:30/9pm and gives me sleep cues to which she is not hard ..read more

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and one of the mums from my older kids class (not a close friend, more an associate) asked me how I was doing and whether I knew if they are boys or girls. Then she came out with "Do you get constipated?" I should have asked her about her poops too lol Edit: Clearly this isn't as weird as I first thought lol submitted by /u/anamethatstaken1 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Feeling hopeless…

Im FTM 29 weeks with mo/di boys and have SIUGR and was just told at the last ultrasound that there is negative blood flow in baby Bs umbilical cord. They’re hoping I can make it another 3-5 weeks but said I’m walking on eggshells until then and to be ready at every weekly ultrasound to have an emergency C Section. On top of that, the father has decided that now is a good time to start doing cocaine and meth. Not sleeping or letting me sleep. And constantly accuses me of cheating on him and hiding lovers in my closet when I kick him out of the room to try and get sleep and not stress out. Does ..read more

Update on stage 2 TTTS diagnosis

Update: testing today left us with more terrible news. TAPS diagnosis, along with the stage 2 TTTS. The donor twin is also measuring 30% smaller than the recipient twin, which is apparently a separate issue and very concerning. Neurological complications were brought up. Also for the donor twin: Umbilical artery Doppler were performed on fetus B, and were abnormal, with an S/D of 6.19-7.02 which is increased for gestational age. It seems like the MFM thought perhaps TFMR was the best choice. I have no idea. She said that these are three separate issues. I had amnios and both microarrays were ..read more
