Whip Pediatric Cancer

When we stumbled upon Cooper’s story, it touched our hearts deeply. Cooper, the adorable and resilient little guy, was diagnosed with cancer at a young age. His aunt, my beloved high school gym teacher, shared his story with us, and we knew we had to help him. Doctors had given a heart-wrenching prognosis – no cure for Cooper’s cancer. We were determined to help ease the immense burden on his family, and we launched a Facebook fundraiser. The outpouring of love and support was overwhelming, as the community rallied together, raising an incredible $10,000. Cooper’s dad, Michael, expressed his h ..read more

$12,270 Tessa was my everything. She fought cancer with a scarf and a smile, and she was never caught without lip gloss and a pair of high heels. She was my best friend, and she is the reason I fight so hard to make a difference so that no one ever goes through the pain of losing their best friend like I have lost mine. Tessa was known for her dancing, her music videos, her loving personality and high sense of fashion. She made more people smile then she even knew. She made this world a better place. At the end of her life, we made a t-shirt fundraiser for her. Silento, the singer of Watch Me ..read more

$2,400 Charlotte was one of the first kids I got to meet when I started Whip Pediatric Cancer. She stole my heart from the very first time we met with her gracious ballet skills and sweet and quiet personality. She was a perfectionist, an artist, and the best big sister around. Our bond is something so sacred to me. Charlotte passed away after suffering from long-term effects of pediatric cancer. She beat cancer. It was the toxic treatment that ultimately took her life. I forever miss her every day. We were able to do a T-shirt fundraiser for her and her family ..read more

$2,260 Lily was a beautiful girl who fought Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. We had the honor of getting close with her and her family from the beginning of her fight. She stole our hearts with her wild imagination and fierce love of princesses and everything pink. Unfortunately, she passed away in September 2020. Our hearts broke for our little Lily. We created a T-shirt fundraiser reading “Lily Bea Strong,” where family and friends were able to show their love and support for the bravest girl in NYC ..read more

$11,357 Mason loves sports (especially baseball), Fortnite, and a good slice of pizza, but his love for his family is what inspires us most. Mason bravely fought Stage 4 Neuroblastoma and beat it. Admits the COVID 19 pandemic, Mason had routine scans where he relapsed. It was urgent to get him to New York City for treatment. We were able to assist Mason and his dad and help them get to NYC and not worry about bills for the next few months. We raised money via Facebook and also held a T-shirt fundraiser where T-shirts read “Mason’s Miracle ..read more

$8,010 JW is the cutest little man I got the honor to visit a couple of times during their visits to NYC. Though he was so young, he was the bravest guy. He was always smiling and playing with his little brother. Even on his way to the hospital, he always had time to open a present and give hugs and high fives. JW ultimately passed away in 2020. His family needed assistance with funeral expenses, so we were able to help them with this ..read more

$1,750 Though I never got the pleasure to meet Reece in person, I have followed along closely with his battle via Facebook. He has the cutest little smile, and it is so easy to fall in love with him even miles away. Mom heard about Whip Pediatric Cancer and asked if we could help her; she wanted to take Reece on a cancer-free vacation; she was struggling financially. We knew we wanted to help in any way we could ..read more

Sarina

$1,118 Sarina’s story is one that hits very close to home for me. She lives in the town over, and she is 21 years old, just like me. We met during her first fight with Acute Myeloid Leukemia when we were seniors in High School. Now, as seniors in college, we talked about breakups and new clothes until she received the dreaded news that she relapsed and has to fight this beast once again. I wanted her to be able to do something that fueled her soul ..read more
