Meet Arianna! She is eight years old and battled Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia. When Arianna was just 14 months old, she was diagnosed with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia which required a bone-marrow transplant and intense chemotherapy. Her body struggled with the transplant resulting in Graft versus Host Disease, Hyperkalemia, Hypovolemia, and other bloodstream diseases. Multiple sections of her small and large intestines were removed to combat the GVHD disease, which destroyed her intestines. Meet Rocco! He is five years old and battling Leukemia. Rocco was diagnosed with Leukemia in June 2021. Despite learning this news and then shortly after failing the induction phase of chemo, Rocco stayed strong and positive. After over two months of intense chemotherapy, Rocco’s body responded to the consolidation phase, and his cancer was virtually undetectable. After suffering from a low-grade fever and rapid heartbeat and breathing rate, she went to the ER, where she was misdiagnosed with a viral infection. Her health declined over the next 24 hours, where she returned to the ER and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia two days before her third birthday. Meet Ke’yair! He is 12 years old and battling Osteosarcoma. Three years ago, Ke’yair fell during Field Day at his school and was brought to the doctor. At this appointment, doctors discovered cancer in his tibia, which had also spread to his lungs. He had multiple surgeries on his lungs and leg while enduring harsh chemotherapy. Meet Malachi! He is nine years old and battled Wilm’s Tumor. When Malachi was seven, he was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor, a form of kidney cancer. Malachi underwent eight months of chemotherapy and had surgery to remove his tumor in April of 2021. Throughout everything, Malachi always had a positive attitude and never complained.
