The Hanover Fireworks Site, also known as the National Fireworks Site, has been a significant concern for Hanover and Hanson, Massachusetts, communities since the early 1980s. The site operated from 1890 to 1977, and at its peak, it employed over 1,000 people. It covers 240 acres and has been contaminated with a range of toxic substances, including lead, mercury, and organic solvents generated in manufacturing fireworks and military munitions. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) has been overseeing the cleanup process since 1995, working with the responsible par ..read more

*Look at their Friend count - Look at their profile pictures (No picture of themselves) - Do not argue with them - The likes on their comments are from other BOTs My fascination with hacking has been amplified throughout my life. At age 13, somebody showed me Back Orifice, a trojan that allowed me, the user, to take control of a target computer. I would erase people's hard drives. At the time, I thought it was awesome, and the power I felt, incredible. At 16, I got into the school “Cable Channel 2” server and wrote, "Squires is simple amazing" The Vice Principle suspended me and said I needed ..read more

My fascination with hacking has been amplified throughout my life. At age 13, somebody showed me Back Orifice, a trojan that allowed me, the user, to take control of a target computer. I would erase people's hard drives. At the time, I thought it was awesome, and the power I felt, incredible. At 16, I got into the school “Cable Channel 2” server and wrote, "Squires is simple amazing" The Vice Principle suspended me and said I needed to go to a better English class. That same year retrieved all of the teacher's passwords and gave them to my computer lab professor – I was no longer allowed to us ..read more

Suffering

All of us suffer. Comparing one person suffering to another is futile because it is subjective and incalculable. So often we feel like, why me God, what did I do to deserve this? Before I answer that question, I want to share some quotes of people who were clinically dead and came back. "All the suffering in our lives is actually for our good. Out of the most tragic of circumstances springs human growth." (Angie Fenimore) "God never gives us more challenges in life than we can handle. Rather than jeopardize our spiritual progression or cause more suffering than can be endured, God will bring ..read more

Death

It is something we all fear, for two simple reasons - Fear of the unknown - Fear of the pain we will cause to our loved ones or vice versa. Even the most devout Christian fear one and other. I recently read an article that 83% of atheists change their religious views while on their deathbed. The concept of dying is overwhelming, and we battle with the thought every day given our disease. We cannot live in fear of death, fearing our very future existence, one must accept death as part of life. In reality, there is no future there is only the present. To understand death, we must understand life ..read more

Prognosis Statistics - Cancer
OLIGODENDROGLIOMA | My Journey With Brain Cancer

Statistics How do we deal with such dire prognosis statistics? The short answer is, we don’t. Why? If the "average" life expectancy is 5, 10, or 20 years, then that data is based on people treated 5, 10, or 20 years ago. Research in this area is so fast; life expediencies change dramatically. It is not possible to know how long the person who was treated yesterday (or last week) will ultimately live. That is why most doctors say not to look at the statistics. Whatever the statistic, it is necessarily outdated. Let's look at HIV/AIDS as an example. Not long ago it was a death sentence, in 1996 ..read more

Do not let you Brain Tumor dictate your life. If you live your Life worrying about the future – Than what Good is living. I have seen it to many times; individuals who are depressed about their prognosis and live in despair. (See Prognosis Statistics) Most are surprised that I worked through both radiation and chemo (Temodar) as an IT Director. I would leave at 4 PM, get my head microwaved at 4:30 PM and home by 5:30 PM. I hope this sentiment gives everyone hope – If I can work as and IT Director, own an e-commerce business all while having a newborn than I feel anything is possible. Just thi ..read more
